The Royal New Brunswick Rifle Association 6th Annual Benchrest For Score Championship Hosted By The Minto Gun Club (1979) Inc. Shooters are advised that these Championships are BENCHREST FOR SCORE matches and NOT Benchrest Group Shooting matches. DATES:
Rimfire BR (Open/Sporter Classes) - SUNDAY, JULY 23, 2023 Centerfire BR (Open/Sporter Classes) - SUNDAY, AUGUST 6, 2023 Fundy Shooting Sports held its 4th annual Scout Appreciation Day on May 13 2023. We had a total of 44 Scouts and Leaders in attendance. They were taught about basic firearm safety on the firearms that they would be using (Bolt action Rimfire Rifles and pump action shotguns). They were divided into 2 groups and one went to the Rifle Range to shoot various targets (paper, charcoal briquettes and balloons). The other half went and each Scout had a chance to shoot at 5 moving clay targets.
We served up a meal of fine range cuisine and each Scout received a treat bag that contained a Fundy Shooting Sports camo hat, a participation medal, New Brunswick Wildlife Trust Fund whistles, rulers, stickers, newsletter, candy, ball compass, carabiner and light sticks. Funding for this event was provided by the New Brunswick Wildlife Trust Fund and The Royal New Brunswick Rifle Association.
