We are fortunate to have three highly qualified instructors who volunteer their time to promote this valuable program. 

Instruction commenced on Saturday, April 13 2024 and continued for the next two Saturday's, ending on Saturday, April 27. The course consists of theory and hands on shotgun shooting instruction on our Trap and Skeet fields. A course educational booklet is also supplied. The youths ages ranged from 12 to 16 years.   

For this year, we had 6 students for the first Saturday, 5 for the second session and 5 for the third session.

In total, the group shot 54 boxes of 12 gauge ammunition and 25 boxes of 20 gauge ammunition for a total of 1,975 shells and around 2000 clays, 

The instructors were very satisfied with the interest level and overall improvement of the group. As in past years, it is our intention to offer this course again next year.

Nous avons la chance d'avoir trois instructeurs hautement qualifiés qui donnent bénévolement de leur temps pour promouvoir ce précieux programme.

L'instruction a commencé le samedi 13 avril 2024 et s'est poursuivie les deux samedis suivants, pour se terminer le samedi 27 avril. Le cours consiste en une formation théorique et pratique au tir au fusil de chasse sur nos terrains de Trap et de Skeet. Un livret de formation est également fourni. On Sunday, September 8th 2024, with ideal weather, the Fredericton Trap & Skeet Club held the 16th Annual RNBRA Provincial Shotgun Championship. Originally scheduled for Saturday, September 7th, we were forced to postpone the shoot to Sunday, because of rain. All went well with the course consisting of 50 Sporting clays, 25 Skeet and 25 Trap for a total of 100 clay targets.

The event attracted 25 participants including two women and three juniors. As with all of our major shoots, a BBQ lunch was made available.

The scoring results are as follows:
Senior HOA - Brian Lewis - 93
1st Runner up - Trevor Wasson - 83
2nd Runner up - Joe Cairns - 82
High Ladies - Melissa Wasson - 80
High Junior - Jacob Durepos - 70 

The official RNBRA wall plaque hanging in our clubhouse will be updated with the 2024 results.

Le dimanche 8 septembre 2024, par un temps idéal, le Fredericton Trap & Skeet Club a organisé le 16e championnat provincial annuel de tir au fusil de chasse de la RNBRA. Initialement prévu pour le samedi 7 septembre, nous avons été forcés de reporter le tir au dimanche en raison de la pluie. Tout s'est bien déroulé avec un parcours composé de 50 plateaux d'argile, 25 plateaux de Skeet et 25 plateaux de Trap pour un total de 100 plateaux d'argile.

L'événement a attiré 25 participants, dont deux femmes et trois juniors. Comme pour tous nos grands tirs, un déjeuner barbecue a été offert.
