Royal New Brunswick Rifle Association Technical Shooting Skills Workshops

RNBRA has been committed to promoting target marksmanship since 1866. In pursuit of promoting target marksmanship RNBRA organizes technical target shooting skills workshops. These workshops are organized in response to member requests and are scheduled when sufficient member interest has been identified.

Objective:

The objective of the RNBRA technical shooting skills workshops is to refine, polish, strengthen the current technical target shooting skills of interested members. These workshops would be of interest to experienced target shooters who may be having technical difficulties achieving consistency of shooting performance.
Instructors: Workshops are conducted by instructors with extensive shooting experience and technical expertise in the particular discipline.

Technical shooting skills workshops are organized in various shooting disciplines including:

• Full Bore Rifle
• Small Bore Rifle
• Shotgun
• Olympic Disciplines
• Practical Pistol
• Defensive Pistol
• Cowboy Action

Eligibility – members interested in participating in technical target shooting skills workshops register with our RNBRA Secretary – Treasurer.

Minimum workshop size – the minimum workshop size is 8 participants.

Registration fees – the registration fee for technical target shooting skills workshops is $25.00 per participant, with pre registration.

Workshop length – the RNBRA technical target shooting skills workshops are each one day in length.

Workshop location – the workshop location is determined considering the location of the majority of workshop participants, and the availability of adequate shooting range facilities.

Insufficient participants – an RNBRA affiliated club may choose to cover the full cost of 8 participants and have a workshop conducted for their club, in the event there are insufficient participants registered, and the club prefers not to wait until the minimum registration numbers are reached.
